The Panther Creek Catamounts basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Apex Cougars to 32 in the Catamounts league triumph on Friday.

The Catamounts now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Hope for a 4A Southeast Wake contest on Tuesday, January 9. Panther Creek will battle a Falcons team coming off a 43-35 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-3.

The Cougars (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Patriots enter the 4A Southeast Wake contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Apex Friendship was routed by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 43-35, in a league contest.
