The Aurora Huskies basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Schuyler Warriors to 24 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hastings for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Aurora will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-23 league win over Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.

The Warriors (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Gross Catholic triumphed over Platteview (Springfield, NE), 63-52, in a non-league contest.
