Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Elberta Warriors (Elberta, AL), 43-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blacksher upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Area 1 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-4. St. Luke's Episcopal won 41-31 in their recent league bout against Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL)
