Texas High School Basketball - East Bernard overwhelms Brazos
January 5, 2024: East Bernard, TX 77435 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) and the visiting Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), saw East Bernard's basketball squad wallop Brazos by a tally of 56-17.
With the victory, East Bernard improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Brahmas travel to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX) to confront the Leopards in a 3A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 14-7.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX) in a 3A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Brazos will attempt to improve on its 0-21 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 62-27 league loss to Danbury (Danbury, TX).
