In Friday's non-league outing, the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) basketball squad nipped the host Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI), by a margin of 55-51.

The Marauders (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Warriors go into the Downriver outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Woodhaven got by Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI), 46-38, in a league outing.
