Kentucky High School Basketball - Owsley County tops Corbin
January 5, 2024: Booneville, KY 41314 Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), 77-63 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Owsley County upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Owls / Lady Owls host Cordia (Hazard, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-9.
Next up, the Redhounds play the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Corbin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Tomcats come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 66-64 non-league win over Ryle (Union, KY).
