January 5, 2024: Montgomery, AL 36106 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lakeside School Chiefs (Eufaula, AL) and the host Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL), saw Lakeside School's basketball squad wallop Evangel Christian Academy by a tally of 52-31.
With the victory, Lakeside School improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Macon-East Montgomery Academy lost 69-22 in their recent league challenge against Glenwood (Phenix City, AL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Autauga Academy Generals (Prattville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Evangel Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 59-22 league loss to Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL).
