Mississippi High School Basketball - Forest fells Sebastopol
January 5, 2024: Sebastopol, MS 39359 Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS), 39-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Forest upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Morton (Morton, MS) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Morton won 49-25 in their recent non-league bout against Scott Central (Forest, MS)
Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS) in a 2A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Sebastopol will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 63-36 league win over J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS).
