The Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers basketball team (Sun Valley, CA), was overwhelmed 49-18 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA)

The Lancers now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poly for a East Valley battle on Monday, January 8. Grant will confront a Parrots team coming off a 61-44 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Parrots record now stands at 5-6.
