January 5, 2024: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) and the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), saw Pequannock's basketball squad overcome Hanover Park by a tally of 51-43.
With the victory, Pequannock improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Panthers travel to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 7. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Morris Catholic won 94-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Hanover Park will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to West Morris Central (Chester, NJ).
