Louisiana High School Basketball - Singer overwhelmed by Hicks
January 5, 2024: Singer, LA 70660 The Hicks Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Singer Hornets to 22 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Hicks will battle a Hornets team coming off a 59-38 non-league loss to Simpson (Simpson, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-13.
The Hornets (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Evans (Evans, LA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Evans was routed by Leesville (Leesville, LA), 56-44, in a non-league contest.
