December 1, 2023: Vinton, LA 70668 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) and the host Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA), saw Hicks's basketball squad wallop Vinton by a count of 67-9.
With the victory, Hicks upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Evans (Evans, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Evans won 41-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Mamou (Mamou, LA)
Next up, the Lions play the Westlake Rams (Westlake, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Vinton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
