Iowa High School Basketball - Mormon Trail tipped by Lamoni
January 5, 2024: Garden Grove, IA 50103 In Friday's league match, the visiting Lamoni Demons basketball squad scored a close 50-47 victory over the Mormon Trail Saints.
With the victory, Lamoni upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Demons host Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA) to play the Saints in a Bluegrass challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Melcher-Dallas won 66-29 in their recent league challenge against Seymour (Seymour, IA)
Next up, the Saints play the Gilman City Hawks (Gilman City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Mormon Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 49-25 non-league win over North Harrison (Eagleville, MO).
