Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Diagonal Maroons (Diagonal, IA), 62-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Lamoni upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Demons host Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a Bluegrass bout on Monday, December 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Maroons play the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Diagonal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 51-26 league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA).
