Oregon High School Basketball - Redmond nips Mountain View
January 5, 2024: Redmond, OR 97756 Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR), 58-54 in a league bout.
With the victory, Redmond upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Summit (Bend, OR) to play the Storm in a 5A Intermountain bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Summit won 50-14 in their recent league bout against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)
Next up, the Cougars play the Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) in a 5A Intermountain bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Lava Bears come into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 51-50 league loss to Caldera (Bend, OR).
