Michigan High School Basketball - Superior Central overwhelms Rapid River
January 5, 2024: Eben Junction, MI 49825 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) and the visiting Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI), saw Superior Central's basketball squad wallop Rapid River by a tally of 57-11.
With the victory, Superior Central improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI) to confront the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
Next up, the Rockets confront the Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI) in a Skyline challenge, on Monday, January 8. Rapid River will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 67-34 non-league loss to Wright (Ironwood, MI).
