The West Point Dragons basketball team (Avondale, AZ), was overwhelmed 82-10 in Friday's league battle with the host Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ)

The Monsoon now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Vista for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Valley Vista will confront a Thunder team coming off a 63-32 league win over Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 11-4.

The Dragons (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Wolverines come into the 6A West Valley battle with a 5-4 record.
