Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greenwood overwhelms Newport
January 5, 2024: Millerstown, PA 17062 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) and the visiting Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), saw Greenwood's basketball squad wallop Newport by a count of 51-12.
With the victory, Greenwood improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Buffaloes confront the York Country Day (York, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Newport will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
