January 5, 2024: Lake Balboa, CA 91406 Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting El Camino Real Royals (Woodland Hills, CA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots face the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) in a West Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Birmingham will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Toreadors enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA).
The Royals now have a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatsworth for a West Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 10. El Camino Real will face a Chancellors team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Chancellors record now stands at 5-4.
