Maine High School Basketball - Falmouth overwhelms Gorham
January 6, 2022: Gorham, ME 04038 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Falmouth Yachtsmen (Falmouth, ME) and the host Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME), saw Falmouth's basketball squad wallop Gorham by a tally of 74-47.
With the victory, Falmouth improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Yachtsmen host Greely (Cumberland Center, ME) to confront the Rangers in a A South challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Greely won 47-26 in their recent non-league challenge against York (York, ME)
Next up, the Rams confront the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) in a AA South challenge, on Saturday, January 8. Gorham will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 50-31 league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME).
