In Friday's league outing, the Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA), by a count of 60-33.

The Mustangs (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Leopards go into the WPIAL 4A 3 outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Belle Vernon was crushed by Uniontown (Uniontown, PA), 79-64, in a league outing.

The Colonials now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabeth Forward for a WPIAL 4A 3 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Albert Gallatin will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 73-66 league loss to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-10.
