The Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA), 34-31 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Tunstall got by Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 72-49, in a league test.
