Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northern Heights Wildcats (Allen, KS), 60-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Heights upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to West Franklin (Pomona, KS) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mission Valley Vikings (Eskridge, KS) in a Flint Hills bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Northern Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 51-40 non-league loss to West Franklin (Pomona, KS).
