Kansas High School Basketball - Chase County holds off Central Heights
December 2, 2022: Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS) and the visiting Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS), saw Chase County's basketball squad hold off Central Heights by a tally of 35-31.
With the victory, Chase County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Centre (Lost Springs, KS) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Centre lost 40-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Wakefield (Wakefield, KS)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 5. Central Heights will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 61-54 league loss to Anderson County (Garnett, KS).
