January 6, 2023: Columbus, MT 59019 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Columbus Cougars (Columbus, MT) and the visiting Roundup Panthers (Roundup, MT), saw Columbus's basketball squad overcome Roundup by a tally of 48-36.
With the victory, Columbus improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Laurel (Laurel, MT) to confront the Locomotives in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Locomotives come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Malta Mustangs (Malta, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Roundup will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 53-48 non-league win over Rocky Boy (Box Elder, MT).
