The Donahue Catholic Shamrocks basketball team (Ave Maria, FL), was nudged 57-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cypress Lake Panthers (Fort Myers, FL)

The Panthers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to IMG Academy Silver for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Cypress Lake will confront a Ascenders team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Cape Coral (Cape Coral, FL). The Ascenders record now stands at 5-4.
