Ohio High School Basketball - Firestone topped by Ellet
January 6, 2023: Akron, OH 44312 The Ellet Orangemen basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Firestone Falcons to 45 in the Orangemen league victory on Friday.
The Orangemen now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East for a Akron City contest on Tuesday, January 10. Ellet will battle a Dragons team coming off a 57-56 league loss to Garfield (Akron, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 9-2.
The Falcons (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against North (Akron, OH). The Vikings come into the Akron City contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, North was defeated by Buchtel (Akron, OH), 92-17, in a league contest.
