The Mason City Mohawks basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Fort Dodge Dodgers to 51 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mohawks now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charles City for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Mason City will meet a Comets team coming off a 52-40 non-league loss to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Comets record now stands at 6-6.
