Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO), 59-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Severance upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Silver Knights host Skyline (Longmont, CO) to play the Falcons in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Skyline lost 59-53 in their recent league bout against Niwot (Niwot, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Northridge Grizzlies (Greeley, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Fort Morgan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 64-46 league loss to Mountain View (Loveland, CO).
