Iowa High School Basketball - Norwalk overwhelms Grinnell
January 6, 2023: Norwalk, IA 50211 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) and the visiting Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), saw Norwalk's basketball squad wallop Grinnell by a tally of 62-36.
With the victory, Norwalk improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Newton (Newton, IA) to play the Cardinals in a Little Hawkeye challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Newton won 61-39 in their recent league challenge against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings (Vinton, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Grinnell will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 86-45 league loss to Marion (Marion, IA).
