The McLean Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Lefors Pirates to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miami for a 1A Region I District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 10. McLean will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-27 league win over Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.

The Pirates (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Miami (Miami, TX). The Warriors come into the 1A Region I District 1 bout with a 6-3 record.
