Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Los Amigos Lobos (Fountain Valley, CA), 56-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Loara upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Saxons host La Quinta (Westminster, CA) to play the Aztecs in a Garden Grove bout on Monday, January 9. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 7-12. La Quinta lost 54-35 in their recent league bout against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA)

Next up, the Lobos play the Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) in a Garden Grove bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Los Amigos will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
