Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lodi can't hold off Poynette
January 6, 2023: Poynette, WI 53955 The Poynette Pumas basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Lodi Blue Devils to 48 in the Pumas league triumph on Friday.
The Pumas now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Poynette will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 79-43 league win over Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.
The Blue Devils (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Monroe, WI). The Cheesemakers enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Monroe was nudged by Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI), 77-56, in a league contest.
