In Friday's league outing, the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Section Lions (Section, AL), by a margin of 87-48.

The Bison (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ider (Ider, AL). The Hornets go into the 2A Area 15 outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Ider was trounced by Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL), 64-54, in a non-league outing.
