Alabama High School Basketball - Phillips crushes Vina
January 6, 2023: Bear Creek, AL 35543 Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vina Red Devils (Vina, AL), 87-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Phillips upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Bears host Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL) to play the Panthers in a 1A Area 14 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Hackleburg lost 58-46 in their recent non-league bout against Lynn (Lynn, AL)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Lynn Bears (Lynn, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Vina will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
