Ohio High School Basketball - Thurgood Marshall can't hold off Stivers School for the Arts
January 6, 2023: Dayton, OH 45402 The Stivers School for the Arts Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Thurgood Marshall Cougars to 61 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urbana for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Stivers School for the Arts will battle a Hillclimbers team coming off a 94-89 league loss to Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH). The Hillclimbers record now stands at 7-3.
The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Meadowdale (Dayton, OH). The Lions enter the Dayton Public contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Meadowdale nudged Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, OH), 70-64, in a non-league contest.
