The Miles Bulldogs (Miles, TX) basketball nipped the host Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX), 45-44 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Roscoe (Roscoe, TX). The Plowboys go into the 2A Region I District 8 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Roscoe was tipped by Coleman (Coleman, TX), 53-46, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Winters for a 2A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, January 10. Bangs will encounter a Blizzards squad coming off a 27-22 league win over Colorado (Colorado City, TX). The Blizzards record now stands at 7-14.
