The Ledford Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Central Davidson Spartans to 22 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery Central for a 3A Conference 47 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Ledford will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 60-37 league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-4.

The Spartans (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets enter the 3A Conference 47 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Asheboro was defeated by Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 74-53, in a league contest.
