Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Law Lawmen (Milford, CT), 48-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cheshire upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Rams host Mercy (Middletown, CT) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Mercy won 51-44 in their recent league bout against Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT)

Next up, the Lawmen clash with the Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Law will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 51-44 league loss to Mercy (Middletown, CT).
