The Chestatee War Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Seckinger Jaguars to 19 in the War Eagles league victory on Friday.

The War Eagles now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee Bluff for a AAAA Region 8A contest on Tuesday, January 10. Chestatee will battle a Bears team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Bears record now stands at 10-5.

The Jaguars (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors come into the AAAA Region 8B contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Walnut Grove triumphed over Johnson (Gainesville, GA), 80-24, in a league contest.
