Virginia High School Basketball - Fresta Valley Christian tops United Christian Academy
January 6, 2023: Stanardsville, VA 22973 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers (Marshall, VA) and the host United Christian Academy Crusaders (Stanardsville, VA), saw Fresta Valley Christian's basketball squad knock off United Christian Academy by a tally of 42-33.
With the victory, Fresta Valley Christian improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Regents (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Lions in a Virginia Christian challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Regents won 55-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Legacy Christian Academy (Stephens City, VA)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Ridgeview Christian Crusaders (Stuarts Draft, VA) in a Virginia Christian challenge, on Monday, January 9. United Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 60-22 league win over Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA).
