Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Green River Pirates (Green River, UT), 68-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Whitehorse upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to Monticello (Monticello, UT) to clash with the Buckaroo in a 1A Region 23 bout on Friday, January 13. The Buckaroo go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Monticello lost 63-44 in their recent league bout against Green River (Green River, UT)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT) in a 1A Region 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Green River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 67-48 non-league win over Cuba (Cuba, NM).
