Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) and the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), saw Saydel's basketball squad hold off Greene County by a tally of 40-33.

With the victory, Saydel improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to H-L-V (Victor, IA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. H-L-V lost 44-42 in their recent league challenge against Keota (Keota, IA)
