The Mohave Accelerated Patriots routed the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes basketball team by a final score of 54-23 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions (Avondale, AZ) in a 2A West game, on Monday, January 9. Mohave Accelerated will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 9-5 record after their 40-39 league loss to Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ).

With the defeat, Heritage Academy moves to 0-10 on the year. The Heroes travel to Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ) to face the Crimson Knights in a 2A West game on Monday, January 9. The Crimson Knights enter the game with a record of 1-10.
