Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 58-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC) to play the Saints in a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Calhoun County won 64-52 in their recent league bout against North (North, SC)

Next up, the Trojans play the North Eagles (North, SC) in a A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Ridge Spring-Monetta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 64-52 league loss to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC).
