January 6, 2023: Wabeno, WI 54566 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) and the visiting Hurley Northstars (Hurley, WI), saw Wabeno/Laona's basketball squad wallop Hurley by a tally of 65-39.
With the victory, Wabeno/Laona improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI) to play the Bluejays in a Northern Lakes challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Northstars play the Mercer Tigers (Mercer, WI) in a Indianhead challenge, on Friday, January 6. Hurley will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
