Nebraska High School Basketball - McCool Junction crushes Lawrence-Nelson

McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lawrence-Nelson Raiders (Nelson, NE), 55-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McCool Junction upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Friend (Friend, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a D2 District 2 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Friend lost 55-27 in their recent non-league bout against Southern (Wymore, NE)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Rock Hills Grizzlies (Mankato, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Lawrence-Nelson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 48-37 league win over Chase (Chase, KS).
