Minnesota High School Basketball - Shakopee nips Rosemount
January 6, 2023: Shakopee, MN 55379 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) and the visiting Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN), saw Shakopee's basketball squad hold off Rosemount by a count of 35-34.
With the victory, Shakopee upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN) to play the Lakers in a AAAA Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Irish play the Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Rosemount will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 51-49 league win over Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN).
