Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 61-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Mesquite upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Knights in a bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Sabercats play the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. Saguaro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
