Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), 27-15 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ysleta upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bel Air (El Paso, TX) to play the Highlanders in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Bel Air lost 41-31 in their recent non-league bout against Chapin (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Matadors play the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Conquistadores come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 30-19 league win over Horizon (El Paso, TX).
